The Swedish Equestrian Federation has announced the updated Swedish dressage squads leading up to the new year 2022.
Senior team captain Bo Jena and the youth team staff (Tina Due Boje (young riders), Marianne Esseen-Soderberg (juniors and children), Anette Svanberg (pony)) met to discuss the new squads and set the competitive targets for next year.
"There are a lot of new, interesting horses that we look forward to seeing in a competitive situation in 2022," said Jena, adding that for the seniors the main goal is "the World Championships in the first place, but also the Nations Cup."
The Swedish squads for 2022 are detailed below. Interestingly no horses are named for the senior squad riders, but they are for the youth squads
