Jona-Emily Bomberg's Mr Magic Sold to Eisenhardt Family

Jona-Emily Bomberg's internationally competed FEI pony Mr Magic has been sold to the Eisenhardt family. As Bomberg's pony time draws to a close, she is making the transition to horses and junior level.

FS. Mr Magic is a 9-year old Rhinelander gelding by FS Mr. Right out of Maike Mende's international FEI pony ride Desert Rose (by FS Don't Worry x FS Cocky Dundee). He is bred by Ralf Knauf

Licensed stallion

Fs Mr. Magic was licensed as a breeding stallion at the 2014 Rhinelander pony stallion licensing in Wickrath, presented by Josef Wilbers, who put the FS initials in front of the pony's name although he wasn't bred by Ferienhof Stucker.

The palomino never did his performance test, nor has he any registered offspring with the German NF.

The temperamental palomino was gelded for sport and was first competed by Jona-Emily Bomberg in 2019 at A-level.

In 2020 they moved up to FEI pony level (L-level in Germany) and finished fifth at the 2020 German Pony Championships in Riesenbeck.

They made their international show debut in 2021 at the CDI Sint-Truiden in Belgium, where they finished second in the team test with 72.810%. This year they also rode at the CDI's in Hagen, Kronberg and Zandhoven. Bomberg also had the routinier and German medal winning team pony Cyrill to ride this year and he was her first choice to try for team selection.

Rafael Reichard-Eisenhardt

As Bomberg was in her last year on ponies in 2021, Mr Magic sold this autumn to a new family to continue his sport career.

He has become the ride of Rafael Reichart-Eisenhardt, who made his show debut on Mr Magic at the regional show in Brunnthal on 9 - 10 October 2021, winning the A and L-level test. In November the pair gained mileage in Kreuth. The 12-year old Rafael is also doing show jumping with the 10-year old pony Oliver Twist (by Ombri B x Brillant).

Equitaris reported that Bomberg continues on horses and has already been getting her feet wet this season at M-level aboard Stefanie Krause's 9-year old Westfalian mare Santurina (by Sir Donnerhall x Weltmeyer) and on Wibke Weishaupt's 15-year old Oldenburg gelding Sinatra M (by Stedinger x Donnerhall).
