The 7-year old Powerpoint de Tamise, who finished seventh at the 2021 World Young Horse Championships, has been sold to Germany. He will continue as the junior rider hopeful for Pia Schein.

Powerpoint de Tamise is a Belgian warmblood gelding by Dark President x Sandro Song x Rohdiamant.

Belgian Beginnings

The black is bred by international FEI rider Kara Bosman and her partner Wouter Dierickx.

They sold the horse to Saskia Hambrouck who competed him successfully on the Belgian young horse scene. The pair earned bronze at the 2019 Belgian Young Horse Championships in the 4-year old division

WCYH Finalist

In December 2019 the black gelding sold to American born Belgian dressage rider and investor Elisabeth Tepper of EMC2 Horses. She put the gelding in training with German Andrea Winkeler (née Müller-Kersten).

The German duo rode the qualifiers in Belgium for the 2020 World Young Horse Championships in Verden and got selected on the team but the event was cancelled in December 2020 due to Covid.

Winkeler and Powerpoint returned to Belgium in 2021 and again clinched a spot on the Belgian team for the WCYH in Verden, where they placed sixth in the 6-year old finals. This was the third best result ever achieved by a Belgian warmblood horse at the World Championships. Only Saros van het Gestelhof (4th under Stefan van Ingelgem) and China Town's Dream (6th under Vicky Smits) did better.

Junior Hope for Pia Schein

In the autumn of 2021, Powerpoint de Tamise sold to the now 18-year old Pia Schein as her junior rider hopeful.
