The young Danish licensed dressage stallions Straight Horse Ramses and Lorswood Bernstein have been sold and will be developed by international Grand Prix dressage riders.

Straight Horse Ramses

The 2017 born Straight Horse Ramses is an emrbyotransfer by Revolution out of 2021 Nurnberger Burgpokal winner Straight Horse Asenzione (by Zack x Don Schufro). He is bred by Eva Götzsche and Mogens Pedersen in Denmark.

He was licensed at the 2020 Danish Warmblood Stallion Licensing in Herning with a licence to breed for one year, but never did his stallion performance test in Denmark and was not re-presented in 2021. He has not yet been competed in Denmark.

The tall dark bay out of a prized dam line with Helen Langehanenberg's Ascenzione as dam and Danish Mare of the Year Bogegardens Don Romina as grand dam, has now been sold to Danes Marie-Louise and Steffen Ebdrup of equestrian center Følle Strandgaard in Denmark. He will be developed to FEI level by Norwegian Grand Prix rider Ellen Birgitte Farbrot. He has been gelded to focus on sport.

"I can’t wait to get going with his education," Farbrot told Eurodressage. Ellen Birgitte recently parted ways with Tailormade Horses, her biggest horse owner of twelve years, to build an even closer-knit collaboration with the Ebdrup couple.

Lordswood Bernstein SL

The 2018 born Oldenburg stallion Lordswood Bernstein SL has been sold to American Grand Prix rider Jessica Howington.

The liver chestnut stallion is by Bonds out of Sunshine M (by Quaterback x Rohdiamant) and bred by Stefanie Löhmann in Germany. He was discovered as a youngster by British horse owner duo Heather Stack and Alice Whitefield of Lordswood and then sold to Denmark.

He was licensed at the 2021 Danish Warmblood Stallion Licensing which was held as a special private home tour licensing due to Covid and three months later approved for Oldenburg. He completed his Danish Warmblood 35-Day Stallion Performance Test in November and scored 802 points and placed 15th out of 18 stallions that passed the testing.

The rising 4-year old chestnut stallion sold to Jessica Howington and has already arrived in Florida.
