Topgun (by Toto Jr x Vivaldi) was named the champion of the 2022 NRPS Stallion Licensing, which concluded on 12 March 2022.

Fourteen dressage bred colts out of a collection of 25 were initially accepted at the 2022 NRPS Stallion Licensing and moved forward to the mandatory saddle presentation at the "NRPS Stallion Show" on 12 March for final approval.

The 3-year old Topgun, bred by J. van de Weerden and owned by Ad Valk, persevered in the end. "The 1.74 m standing stallion convinced with his type, expressive, balance and excellent way of moving," NRPS stated.

The 6-year old First Lewis (by Ferguson x Wynton) was named the reserve champion. He is bred by L. van Grunsven and owned by De Ijzeren Man.

Ten colts were invited to the champion's ring and three vied for the title of licensing champion. The third placed colt was F-Osborne (by For Ferrero x Johnson), bred by Stal Elbers and owned by the breeder in partnership with Peter van de Sande.

The pony licensing champion was Noxville van de Beekerheide (by Neptune van de Beekerheide x Conrad SR). He is a full brother to the licensed Nilay van de Beekerheide. The reserve pony champion is Geronimo Taonga (by Golden West x FS Don't Worry), bred by renowned KWPN horse breeder Willeke Bos and owned by Pronk Stables.
