Show management at World Equestrian Center – Ocala and Discover Dressage regrettably announce the suspension of this year’s Florida Youth Dressage Championship due to low registration numbers.
The event was scheduled to take place on April 15-17, 2022, during Ocala CDI3*.
"We want to thank those who did apply, but the decision was made that the overall participation this year will be insufficient to hold a championship event," the show organizers communicated. "Late establishment of the show date may have contributed to not having enough entries in all levels, but will thankfully not impact next year’s championships. We look forward to a spectacular championship in 2023."
Created in 2013 by Lendon Gray and Hampton Green Farm, The Florida Youth Dressage Championships is one of the largest international championship events for youth dressage riders in Florida. The Championships offer a great platform to expand the sport. The Florida Youth Dressage Championships provide a fun, competitive, and educational atmosphere for young dressage riders to advance in the sport, while boosting camaraderie and sportsmanship as well as new friendships and experiences.
