Ann-Kathrin Linsenhoff's gorgeous Gestut Schafhof in Kronberg on the edge of Frankfurt is hosting two back-to-back international dressage competitions in July. The first week celebrated the youth classes, while the second week features FEI level classes for seniors as well as a selection of national tests.
The International Youth Festival was a massive success as Germany's top pony riders gathered there for their final team selection trial for the upcoming European Championships. With tests from pony level to Under 25 Grand Prix the Kronberg event had all the ingredients for a diverse and interesting programme of youth dressage sport.
With a main competition arena set in a garden landscaped to perfection, there hardly is a more beautiful background than at Schafhof. See a selection of photographs by Eurodressage's long-time correspondent Lukasz Kowalski.
