Susan Pape's Bourani Sold to the U.S.A.

Susan Pape's international small tour horse Bourani has been sold to American dressage rider Denise Steele. 

Bourani is an 11-year old Westfalian by Belissimo M out of Dei Gratia (by Davignon x Ehrentusch x Ricard). He is bred by Mathieu Beckmann.

First shown as a 5-year old by Bronwyn Barlow Cash at a local show in Sittensen in May 2015, Greta Heemsoth took over the ride in 2017 and produced him up to Grand Prix level with starts regional shows in north Germany through 2021. 

Owned by Ingo Pape and Americans Leslie and Richard Malone of Harmony Sport Horses, Bourani joined Susan Pape to winters in Florida in 2019 and 2020, where she rode him at international small tour level and at national big tour level. 

Back home in Germany, Greta was back on board and in the spring of 2020 rode Bourani in his first Inter A and Inter II test. In June 2022 Susan Pape piloted the chestnut in his first Grand Prix test in Elmshorn. 

Bourani has now been sold to Denise Steele and her husband Ken.
