Australian Horses Selected for 2022 World Young Horse Championships

The Australian equestrian Federation (Equine Australia) has selected three horses to represent the country at the 2022 World Championships for young dressage horses in Ermelo, The Netherlands, on 7 - 11 September 2022. 

Australia is eligible to field one horse per age category and three have been selected.

All horse-and-rider combinations that will go to Ermelo are based in Europe. They are:

  • Jayden Brown on the 5-yea rold Miana, a KWPN mare by Franklin x Bordeaux, owned by Willinga Park
  • Maree Tomkinson on the 6-year old Friday IV, a Hanoverian by Furstenball x Diamond Hit, owned by the rider
  • Jayden Brown on the 7-year old Fangio, a Hanoverian by Flannell x Laurentio, owned by Willinga Park
