Danish Grand Prix team rider Carina Cassoe Kruth has received the ride on the Danish stallion performance test winner, Svalegårds Hot Driver.
Svalegårds Hot Driver is a 4-year old Danish warmblood by Hesselhøj Donkey Boy out of Svalegards Hottie (by Hotline x De Noir).
Performance Test Winner
The bay stallion is bred and owned by Else Marie and Jens Chr. Krabbe and presented by Katrinelund stallion station.
He was licensed at the 2022 Danish warmblood stallion licensing but did not get the premium label.
At the 2022 Danish Warmblood Autumn Stallion Performance Testing this privately owned stallion was a league of his own, scoring the highest total of 903,5 points and outclassing a field of 13 further stallions, all owned by mogul Helgstrand dressage.
Carina Cassoe Kruth
Carina Cassoe Kruth has now received the stallion in temporary training to present him at the 2023 Danish Licensing in Herning in March. He will then return to stud duty at Katrinelund.
As of 2024 it is the plan for Kruth to prepare the stallion for Danish team selection for the World Young Horse Championships in Ermelo.
"The plan is for him to come back to me in September, to be prepared against WCYH next year," Kruth told Zibrasport. "It's clear that the WCYH are the dream and the goal for him. I can't see anything other than that being realistic."
