WCYH Finalist Tophojs Diadora Moves to Carine Cassoe Kruth

Danish team gold medal winning championship rider Carina Cassoe Kruth has welcomed two exciting young horses into her barn in a short period of time: young stallion Svalegard Hot Driver and WCYH finalist Tophojs Diadora.

Tophojs Diadora is a 7-year old Danish warmblood mare by Hesselhoj Donkey Boy out of La Donna (by Blue Hors Don Romantic). She is bred by Anette Nilausen and Niels Jorgen Johansen.

Eric Guardia Martinez

Oiriginally owned by the breeders, the bay Diadora was put in training with Danish based Spaniard Eric Guardia Martinez.

The pair made its show debut in August 2020 at the Danish young horse championship qualifier and won the semi-finals in September but did not compete in the national finals in October.

A year later, they were selected on the Danish team for the 2021 World Young Horse Championships in Verden, where they were 14th in the Finals. Two months later they were 8th in 2021 Danish Young Horse Championships in the 5-year old division.

Sold to Norway

In March 2022 Diadora sold to a mystery buyer and moved in training with Severo Jurado Lopez. The plan was for the mare to be prepared for the 2022 WCYH but Jurado never competed her.

Initially it was thought that Severo's German client, Jennifer Nagel, was the buyer, but it later on turned out that Norwegian Siri Evjemo-Nysveen who had purchased the mare. She is the Vice Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of MBaer Swiss merchant bank and a founding partner of Clareville Grove Capital LLP, an investment research provider based in London.

Her first big investment in dressage horses was in 2020 when she purchased the licensed stallion George Clooney at Van Olst horses. She sent the stallion into training with Severo Jurado Lopez in Denmark. A year later the horse moved to the U.K. and she first competed him herself at Bury Farm in November 2021 at advanced level. The horse returned to Denmark and Severo showed him in January and February 2022, while Siri herself competed him at the CDN Hedested and then made her international show debut at the 2022 CDI Herning in March. The pair returned to the U.K. and competed at the CDI's in Wellington Heckfield and Hartpury.

Siri is an avid horse person and also competed in polo sport before switching to dressage. She is married to Italian businessman and polo player Alessandro Bazzoni.
