Fabiano, a 4-year old Westfalian licensed stallion, became the best selling horse in the 2023 Van Olst Sales - The Young Ones, of which the online bidding ended on 13 February 2023.
The collection included 11 rising 3-year olds which have just been brought in to start their saddle breaking and first training, one 4-year old licensed stallion and a 4-year old gelding.
The dark bay stallion Fabiano (by For Romance x Diamond Hit x Matcho AA) is already Westfalian licensed and the KWPN has invited him for the performance test. He sold for 42,000 euro.
The second most expensive horse in the collection was Parava Avo's (by Glamourdale x Scandic) who was bought by a Dutch buyer for 21,000 euro.
The 3-year old Pythagoras (by Lantanas x Chippendale) fetched 20,000 euro.
Three horses sold for 16,000 euro: The 3-year olds Pico Bello (by George Clooney x Jazz) and Pete the Dragon (by Glamourdale x Jazz) and the 4-year old Goliath (by Gladiator). The latter two both move to Great Britain
