Erste Sahne and Fänomen de Malleret, High Scorers of the 2023 Stallion Sport Test in Munster-Handorf

The 4-year old Erste Sahne and the 5-year old Fänomen de Malleret became the high scoring stallions of the Sport Test, which took place in Munster-Handorf on 26 - 28 April 2023. 

Sixteen 4-year olds colts and seven 5-year old colts particpated. The committee stopped the performance of 4-year old Total Amour (by Toto Jr), while the owner of 5-year old Van Dijk (by Vitalis) stopped the performance of his stallion. 

4-YO: Erste Sahne

The Rhinelander bred Erste Sahne (by Escamillo x Sir Donnerhall x Fidermark) bested the field in the 4-year old division with a score of 9.20 points. Bred by Hanne Schleupen and owned by Gestut Rickhof, the bay stallion got 8 for walk, 9 for trot, 10 for canter, and 9.5 for rideability and general impression. He was presented by Lucas Fernandéz Páez.

The Warendorf state stud owned Oldenburg stallion Diamantenglanz (by Diamond First x Bon Coeur) scored 8.61 points and was the second best scoring horse in the lot. He got 8.4 for walk, 8.2 for trot, 9.3 for canter, 8.6 for rideability and 8.5 for general impression. 

Drube and Brunckhorst's Hanoverian stallion Bansky Coeur (by Bon Coeur x Londonderry) was third with 8.46 points.  The Hanoverian premium stallion and 700,000 euro auction price highlight Energy (by Escamillo x De Niro) finished on 8,31 points. He was presented by Spaniard Ruben Mengual Reig for his Austrian owner Gaston Glock.

5-YO: Fänomen de Malleret

In the smaller group of 5-year olds, the French owned and Oldenburg bred Fänomen de Malleret (by Foundation x Sezuan) was the best scoring stallion with a total of 9.11 points.  He received 8.5 for walk, 9 for trot,9.3 for canter, 9.5 for rideability and 9 for overall impression. The bay stallion is bred by Gestut Lewitz and was presented by Helen Langehanenberg for Haras de Malleret, who bought the stallion in the 2021 PSI Auction.

Carl Hedin's very tall Swedish warmblood Skyline to B (by St. Schufro x Ampere) was the second best scoring stallion with a total of 8.54 point. He got 8.2 for walk and trot, 8.8 for canter and rideability and 8.6 for general impression. 

Scarlet Gartmann-Reus' Brandenburger bred Fänomenal (by Fantastic) was third with 8.28 points.
