Sweden
The Swedish equestrian federation has announced the team that will represent Sweden at the 2023 European Pony Championships in Le Mans (FRA) on 26 - 30 July 2023.
Team captain Anette Svanberg has announced the four team riders.
Team Sweden includes:
- Wilma Bornhager – Frans Isak (by Sibelius x Vermont RP) - owner: Cecilia Bornhager, breeder: Pia Sohl
- Saga Gyllenglad – Brouwerij's Percival (by Orchard Red Prince x Orchard d'Avranches) - owner: Helena Gyllenglad, breeder: J. Tabor
- Wilma Holmgren – Casino Royale K (by Champion de Luxe x Top Nonstop) - owner: Wilma Holmgren, breeder: Hermann Koopmeiners
- Vida Nordling Pettersson – Dreimalhoch S (by Dreidimensional x Benedict) - owner: Miriam Nordling, breeder: Maria Stern
The name of the reserve has not been disclosed although Annie Walfridsson (Dogge Doggelito) was nominatively entered.
Ronja Kardos was also entered as a pony rider with Nice One, but she has accepted the team spot with Holly's Final for the 2023 European Children Championships in Kronberg (GER).
