Daniel Pinto's internationally competed Grand Prix horse, Furst Fritz, has been sold to the U.S.A.. Katie Bogaert and Christina DiTullio purchased the 12-year old gelding.

Furst Fritz is Oldenburg registered and by Furst Romancier out of Rudilore (by Sandro Hit x Donnerschwee). He is bred by Tanja Lampe.

To Grand Prix in Portugal

First competed in Germany by Lara Höfler, Furst Fritz moved to Portugal and made his international show debut at Young Riders level under Daniel's son Yoann in 2019.

A year later Daniel rode him in the medium tour at the 2020 CDI Segovia, and their Grand Prix debut was at the 2021 CDI Abrantes. Pinto competed the horse in two more CDI's: 2022 CDI Jerez de la Frontera and 2023 CDI Cascais in the early spring.

Sourced by Sarah and Lee Tubman, Furst Fritz is set to join Katie's string of horses as she embarks on her journey towards competitive success in the FEI arena.

"He's a talented gelding with an impressive track record in the CDI Grand Prix," Tubman explained. "His consistent performance and exceptional talent make him a coveted addition to Katie's lineup. With a shared goal of excelling in the FEI arena, the partnership between Katie and Furst Fritz promises to be an exciting and dynamic one."

Vision for the Future

Katie is the owner of a thriving riding academy KB Equestrian in Madison, Connecticut, and has long demonstrated her passion and dedication to the sport. She has achieved notable success through Prix St Georges level and now wants to make the step to Grand Prix.

This vision for the future prompted her to seek assistance from the Tubmans in finding her next FEI horse.

"To ensure Katie receives top-tier training and guidance, she will be training under our watchful eyes in Wellington, FL," Lee and Sarah stated. They will provide invaluable support as Katie works towards her competitive aspirations.

This acquisition marks a significant milestone for Bogaert and business partner Christina DiTullio.

"I'm sure they eagerly anticipate the challenges and triumphs that lie ahead," said Sarah with a smile. "The entire team is excited to witness the progression of Katie and Furst Fritz 10 as they strive for excellence in the FEI arena."
