Horses Lined Up for 4-Year Old Challenge at 2023 World Young Horse Championships

The 2023 World Championships for young dressage horses will kicked off at the KNHS/KWPN headquarters in Ermelo, The Netherlands, on Thursday 3 August 2023. The programme is action packed with classes for the 5, 6 and 7-year olds as well as a CDI big tour. 

For the third time, Ermelo will also be hosting a "4-year old challenge," an initiative of Hungarian entrepreneur and dressage lover Arie Yom Tov  and sponsored by his companies Sport Pro Horses and the Yom Tov Group. The challenge was first held in 2019, won by So Unique, and returned to Ermelo in 2022, when St. Athletique won. 

Also this year the 4-YO Challenge has returned to Ermelo and the entry list features 32 horses. The best represented sire is Escamillo with no less than five of his offspring entered.
