Anne Marie Hosbond Resigns as Head Rider at Stutteri EVO

Danish professional dressage rider Anne Marie Hosbond has resigned as head rider at Stutteri EVO. She has held the position for two years.

Hosbond took up the job in October 2021 after she separated from partner Kenneth Damgaard with whom she ran her own business, Hosdam Dressage at Stald Fredenshøj. Before that, Hosbond worked for Helgstrand Dressage. In 2018 and 2019 the couple spent the winter season working for Helgstrand in Florida, USA.

Jane Serup Jensen's Stutteri Evo is located in Vejen, Denmark. The farm breeds dressage horses on a small scale but also invests in sales horses with Helgstrand Dressage. They were/are involved in horses such as Fiontini, breeding stallion Iron, and sales horses Devonport, Fiesta Danza, Espe, Kardienon, and Vendome. Evo was also one of Helgstrand's bigger buyers at the Nordic International Sales foal auctions which they hosted in collaboration with Helgstrand. They bought for instance Francetti and Fellini at this auction.

The past two years Hosbond competed EVO Schubidoo (by St Schufro x Hotline) at the 2022 World Young Horse Championships in Ermelo, where they finished 8th in the 7-year old consolation finals. She also campaigned Scarlett (by San Amour x Comics) at international Small tour in 2022 and Grand Prix level in 2023.

"I have resigned from my position at Stutteri EVO," Hosbond posted on Instagram. "It has been two super exciting and educational years with wonderful experiences and athletic performances. We are ending the time in the best way and are looking forward to showing our fine horses at the finals at Blue Hors (Danish Young Horse Championships) in a little while."
