The licensed Oldenburg stallion Dovizioso MT has been sold to Taiwan as the schoolmaster for a junior rider. The horse has moved to France.

Dovizioso MT is an Oldenburg stallion by Dancier  out of Rezitativ TS (by Sunny-Boy x Rubinstein). He is bred by Ekke Thaden.

Licensed stallion

The bay was first owned by Sissy Max-Theurer of Gestut Vorwerk.

He was licensed at the 2018 DSP stallion licensing in Munich and later approved at a home licensing for Rhineland and Oldenburg.

He did his sport test in February 2019 in Munster-Handorf and scored 8.03 for dressage. Two months later he did his 14-day suitability test in Munich and got 8,91 for dressage and 7,13 for show jumping, finishing on 8,23 points. His second sport test was completed in September 2020 in Munster, where he got 7,94 points.

He has no offspring registered with the German equestrian federation.

Sport Career

His sport career began in Germany under Rebecca Holtwiesche in 2018 in Germany, while Melanie Tewes took over in the spring of 2019. Austrian Wolfgang Himsl premiered him internationally in the 5-year old classes at the CDI Achleiten in July 2020, winning both.

Max-Theurer sold Dovizioso through the 2021 Oldenburg Spring Elite Auction to the Belgian De Winne family for 108,000 euro. The ride was allocated to Fien De Winne, who debuted him internationally in 2021 in the 6-year old classes at the CDI's in Le Mans and Jardy. They were 6th at the 2021 Belgian Young Horse Championships for 6-year olds. In the autumn of 2021 they made their small tour debut at the CDI Waregem. At the start of 2023 she rode him in Le Mans and went on to become 14th in the 2023 Belgian Small Tour Championships.

Taiwan

The bay stallion has been sold to Taiwanese-American Joan Chen for her 13-year old daughter Ashleen Huang to ride.

The new pair trains with Camille Judet and Corentin Pottier in France. Ashleen competed in the 2023 FEI Dressage World Challenge and placed second.
