Belinda FRH, the 8-year old Hanoverian mare which Lena Waldmann rode into the 2022 WCYH Finals, has been sold as a junior rider's prospect.
Belinda is by Bon Coeur out of Red Roberta (by Royal Blend x Don Frederico). He is bred by Wilfried Putz.
String of Riders
Owned by Maria Petz, the liver chestnut mare was ridden by a set of riders at the start of her career.
She was premiered by Jacob Schenk at age 4 in 2020 after which Elisabeth Mechler, Elisabeth Brendler, Nicole Hinkelmann and Ralf Kornprobst competed her until the summer of 2021
Lena Waldmann
Lena Waldmann then got on board and debuted her at M-level in May 2022. They were nominated for Germany for the World Young Horse Championships in Ermelo and finished 6th in the 6-year old finals after winning the consolation.
In 2023 they showed in Wiesbaden and were re-selected for the World Championships. This time they placed 22nd in the consolation finals for 7-year olds. Their last CDI start together was in April 2024 in the small tour at the CDI Hagen, where they were second twice
Junior Prospect
Belinda has been sold as a junior rider's prospect for Clara Kohoutek.
The 14-year old Clara has been competing in Germany on ponies with Timms Ozzie (by Grenzehohes Oliveir K x Brooklands Moonwalker) and Nobel Noir (by No Limit x Colorado) and on horses with Dark Dancer (by Danone x Furst Romancier).
Clara and Nobel Noir showed at the 2023 German Pony Championships. A year earlier in 2022 she showed Alexander Yde Helgstrand's former international pony Claire (by Notre Bac x Julio Mariner xx). She competed Schelenburg's Mr Sandman at the 2022 Bundeschampionate.
Clara trains with Julia Kühn. The family also owns former German team pony Der Kleine Sunnyboy.
"I'm really thankful and we are looking forward (to what) the future holds," Clara stated.
