Former Danish team pony Dot Com has returned to Denmark to become the schoolmaster for a new rider. Jan Brink sold the pony to Rosa Laursen.

Dot Com is a 17-year old Danish sport pony mare of unknown origin.

Aagot Jabina

The 139 cm category II pony began its show career in Denmark as a 6-year old under Frederikke Aagot Jabina in 2013.  In 2016 the pair finished 10th in category II at the Danish Pony Championships.  The pair consistently showed at national FEI pony level until the summer of 2018.

Danish Team Pony

In the autumn of 2018, Dot Com sold to Josephine Gert Nielsen, who had a successful 2.5-year partnership with the mare.

They made their international show debut in May 2019 at the CDI-P Uggerhalne. They scored team and individual gold in the category II FEI pony division at the 2019 Nordic Baltic Championships in Aarhus. They also won gold at the Danish Category II Pony Championships. While smaller ponies are usually not picked for Danish team selection for the European Pony Championships, in 2020 Dot Com's outstanding scores put her on the national team. They earned team silver at the 2020 European Pony Championships in Budapest and placed 12th individually.

In the spring of 2021, Dot Com was allocated to a new rider, Danish Sofia Rosenkilde, who competed the pony nationally. At the 2021 Danish Pony Championships for category II ponies in August, they won bronze.

Sold to Sweden

After having competed in and for Denmark for nine years, Dot Com sold to Sweden in December 2021. He became a schoolmaster for then 10-year old Oliver Brink, the son of Swedish Olympian and horse dealer Jan Brink.

Brink showed the pony through 2024. In 2023 the pair was regional champion in Skane and won a gold medal with the regional team at the Swedish team championships.  He once competed Dot Com at international level at the 2024 CDI Aalborg in Denmark. It was Brink's international show debut.

Oliver has now moved on to a taller pony, the 7-year old palomino stallion Herzzauber who was the 2022 Bundeschampion under Antonia Busch-Kuffner.

Back to Denmark

Brink has sold Dot Com back to Denmark, where she will continue her sport career under Rosa Laursen.

Mom Jeanette Laursen runs a pony breeding farm, Stutteri H, in Løgstrup, Denmark. Rosa has been riding ponies Bomgaardens Bobby, Kehja Countach and Rogild's Izabell Lady.
