Dutch Olympian Emmelie Scholtens has taken over the ride on the 9-year old KWPN bred Kyton from Edward Gal.

Kyton is a KWPN bred stallion by Ferguson out of Wilbria (by Ferro x Weyden). He is bred by Willem Goesten.

He was acquired by Indonesian/Singaporean entrepreneur Titan Wilaras for 31,000 euro in the 2015 Borculo Foal Auction.

In 2019 Dutch horse dealers Rom Vermunt and Harald & Jeanette Bruinier bought Kyton in a blow-out sale from Wilaras. They allocated the ride to Bart Veeze, who finished second with him in the 2021 KWPN Stallion Competition Finals and 13th in the 7-year old consolation finals at the 2022 World Young Horse Championships.

In March 2023 the owners sent the horse in training with Edward Gal to produce to Grand Prix level and possibly to be sold like they did with Indigro. Gal never competed the horse.

Kyton is still in The Netherlands and today Scholtens revealed on social media that he arrived in her barn.

"Emmelie has been riding this super cool stallion for a few weeks now," they posted. "they are a good match and showing already some GP skills."
