After a slower appointment process over the Christmas holidays, the FEI announced today the ground jury for the 2025 European Dressage Championships.
The 2025 Europeans are set to take place in Crozet (FRA) after Samorin (SVK) pulled out as hosts. The dates are 28 – 31 August 2025.
As is tradition the president of the ground jury is from the country of the host nation. This means that Raphael Saleh will officiate as president two years in a row, after having headed the judges panel at the Olympic Games.
The ground jury for Crozet includes:
- Raphael Saleh (FRA) - president
- Maarten van der Heijden (NED)
- Hans-Christian Matthiesen (DEN)
- Peter Storr (GBR)
- Katrina Wüst (GER)
- Janet Foy (USA)
- Thomas Lang (AUT)
The travelling reserve will be Christof Umbach (LUX), the non travelling reserve has not yet been appointed.
The foreign technical delegate is Carlos Lopes (POR), the chief steward Didier Deschauwer (BEL).
The Judging Supervisory Panel is made up of Andrew Gardner (GBR), Linda Zang (USA), and Henk van Bergen (NED).
