The breeding stallions Toto Jr and Glamourdale have been proclaimed "Keur" stallions at the 2025 KWPN Stallion Licensing in 's Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands, on Friday evening 31 January 2025. 

In the special evening show section both Toto Jr and Glamourdale were celebrated for their achievements in breeding and sport. In addition to being named Keur stallion, Glamourdale also became the KWPN Horse of the Year 2024 after winning team and individual bronze at the 2024 Olympic Games

The evening show ended with celebrated British team horse Glamourdale being named keur stallion and KWPN Horse of the Year 2024. The stallion has long been a showcase for the KWPN sport horse: he is the reigning world champion and earned team and kür bronze at the Paris Olympic Games.

The son of Lord Leatherdale (out of Thuja stb pref prest by Negro, bred by Joop Rodenburg from Ouderkerk aan den IJssel) was also world champion of young dressage horses when he was seven.

He has multiple offspring competing at higher levels in sport, including the highly promising Kuvazs with Marieke van der Putten, Kashmir with Jessica Leijer, and Kyro. Of the mares presented at the inspection, 78% achieved the ster predicate, 20% are preliminary keur, 3% are keur, and 27% are elite. His sons Mandienio WL, Powerdale, Princedale, Ridgedale, and auction topper Rayano are approved, earning Glamourdale the keur predicate.

Toto Jr

One week ago the Hanoverian bred Toto Jr. was supposed to compete at the World Cup qualifier in Amsterdam, but got swapped last minute for his son, Taminiau. At the 2025 KWPN Stallion Licensing, the Dutch Olympic team horse was presented under Hans Peter Minderhoud.

The son of Totilas is bred out of the Hanoverian mare Desperada (by Desperados) and has competed successfully at Grand Prix level both with Edward Gal and Hans Peter Minderhoud. Taminiau, his first son at Grand Prix level, is currently Holland's rising star at Grand Prix level although his future in sport is uncertain with Glock closing shop.  

Toto Jr. has sired eight KWPN-approved sons, and of the mares presented at the studbook inspections, about 80% achieved the ster predicate. Of the mares presented, 21% are preliminary keur and 36% are elite.
