Fie Skarsoe's internationally competed small tour horse Coco Island OLD has moved on to become the schoolmaster for a Luxembourg children rider.
Coco Island is an 11-year old Oldenburg gelding by Cennin out of Cassandra (by Florencio x De Niro x Feiner Stern). He is bred by Werner Dullweber.

The chestnut was first shown by Marco Pundsack in Germany in 2017 before being sent to the 2018 Oldenburg Spring Elite auction in Vechta to be sold. His catalog name was Centurio.
He was acquired by Peter Jan Schlüschen for 50,000 euro and Fie Skarsoe was assigned the ride. She debuted him in 2019 at A-level and gradually schooled him up the levels.
Their international debut was at the 2019 CDI Wiesbaden in the 5-year old tests, followed by the CDI Leudelange. A two year break from CDI showing followed. Nationally they became Luxembourg Young Horse Champions and they finished 8th in the 6-year old finals at the 2020 German Bundeschampionate in Warendorf.
In May 2021 they returned in Mariakalnok to win the 7-year old finals test. They also went to Pilisjaszfalu and Deauville and then represented Luxembourg at the 2021 World Young Horse Championships in Verden, where they finished 8th in the 7-year old consolation class.
The pair made its international small tour debut in Sint-Truiden in April 2023 and competed in Deauville and Neu-Anspach that year. The latter show in July 2023 was their last international start.
Children's Schoolmaster
The 13-year old Eva trains with Fie and debuted Coco two weeks ago at the national show in Strassen at L-level. She has been competing pony Great Dancer K (by Gabiano B x Der Harlekin B) at national shows in Luxembourg.
Bley will be making her international debut soon at the CDI Jardy and hopes to qualify for the European Children Championships in Le Mans.
"I’m so so happy for Coco and Eva and looking forward to help them to make their dreams come true," Skarsoe told Eurodressage.
Skarsoe's sponsor, Peter Jan Schlüschen bought a "new little Coco" in the Oldenburg foal auction last week: Draven (by Dream Boy x Escamillo).
