Spanish Olympian Severo Jurado Lopez sees his most recent international Grand Prix horses, Kenzo and Krones Kingston, being sold. Both horses moved into Brazilian ownership.

Kenzo

Kenzo is a 10-year old KWPN gelding by Glamourdale out of Valenza (by Flemmingh x Cocktail). He is bred by G. Eggink.

Originally named Korlando, the bay was presented by Olthof Horses at the 2018 KWPN Stallion Licensing, but he did not pass the second phase.  He sold for 32,000 euro at the 2018 KWPN Select Sale to Esmee van Gijtenbeek and her mom Lizbeth de Jager.

Under Esmee he won the regional " Gelderland Cup" for 3-year olds  in 2018 and were 10th in the 2018 VSN Trophy Final. In 2019 they rode in the pilot project for 4-year olds at the World Young Horse Championships in Ermelo and finished 9th in the consolation finals with 7.53 points. Van Gijtenbeek competed him lightly up to national Z2-level.

In 2021 Kenzo sold to Sportpferde Galleria, a company supporting Korean Dong Seon Kim's pursuits. He allocated the ride to Diederik van Silfhout who produced the horse further up the levels. He was also shown by Diana van de Bovenkamp.

Kenzo sold to Lebrija Dressage and the ride was given to the German based Spaniard Severo Jurado Lopez. The new pair made its debut at Gut Hohenkamp in February 2025. Their international debut was at the CDI Tolbert in April, where they scored 68.804% in the Grand Prix. Last weekend at the CDIO Lier they posted 66.239% in the 3* Grand Prix.

Krones Kingston

Krones Kingston is a 9-year old Danish warmblood by Franziskus out of Heslegards Laxmi (by Heslegards Louis). He is bred by Reni H. Nielsen in Denmark.

The horse was owned by Solyst Horses, the company behind Poul and his late wife, Finnish rider Mikaela Fabricious-Bjerre  (née Lindh). They allocated the ride on the bay to Severo Jurado Lopez. In 2021 the horse made its public appearance under student Celine Milton Swande and as of 2022 Severo began showing the horse, first in Denmark as he was living there at the time. They finished 15th at the 2022 Danish Young Horse Championships and Severo showed Kingston nationally up to Prix St Georges level until June 2023.

Jurado moved to Germany in the summer of 2023 and debuted the horse at small tour level in October 2023 in Wroclaw, Poland. They did one CDI test in 2024 in Lier in the PSG. Their Grand Prix debut was in Tolbert, wher they posted 66.587% in the Grand Prix. At the CDI Lier they earned 65.304%.
