Million Dreams and Dark Knight, team horses for Britain and Poland at last summer's European Under 25 and Senior Grand Prix Championships, have been sold to Asia.

Million Dreams

Million Dreams is an 11-year old Oldenburg mare by Millennium out of Saquarema (by Sandro Hit x De Niro). She is bred by Barbara Schulze-Schleppinghoff.

The mare was first competed in 2018 by Gretel Schulze-Buxloh followed by Jeanne-Marleen Bussmann in 2019, but then sold to German based Finnish Olympian Henri Ruoste. He shared ownership with his Finnish friend Jesse Honka.

Million Dreams was trained to Grand Prix level at Ruoste's Gut Bertingloh. British rider Harrison Ashton, who had moved to Ruoste's barn to become his assistant rider, debuted the mare straight away internationally at the CDI Lier in the Under 25 division, followed by the Aachen Festival 4 Dressage. From there they went to the CDI Mannheim, a national show in Aachen, and the CDIO-U25 Hagen, where they clinched a spot on the British team for the 2025 European Under 25 Championships in Kronberg. The duo won team bronze and placed 11th in the short Grand Prix and 8th in the Kur.  Their last competition as a pair was the CDI Herning, where they scored a double victory.

The mare has been sold. She reportedly moved to Asia.

Dark Knight

Dark Knight is a 12-year old Hanoverian gelding by Danciano de Malleret out of Shakira (by Sandro Hit x Classiker). He is bred by Eggerk Groenewold.

Ilona Janas on Dark Knight
Originally named Drogon after one of the dragons in Game of Thrones, the black was first competed in Germany in 2017 by Philipp Lindemann. In 2019 Frederike Bauer took over the ride after which the horse sold to American Nicole Levy and moved to the U.S.A. She debuted him in 2020 in the 6-year ld classes and at third level and competed him through March 2022 up to Inter I level.

Dark Knight was sent back to Germany, where Philipp Ruwe continued campaigning him at small tour level before the horse sold to Polish investor Kamil Iwicky for Ilona Janas to ride. She debuted him in 2024 at the CDI Wroclaw at Grand Prix level and gained mileage at CDI's in Samorin, Pilisjaszfalu, Sopot, and Bialy Las. In 2025 they went to Motesice after which they were selected on the Polish team for the FEI Nations Cup in Compiegne, but they got eliminated there. Then they went to Olomouc, Pilisjaszfalu, Sopot, Dunajsky Klatoc and Görlitz to claim a spot on the Polish team for the  2025 European Championships in Crozet, where they were 47th in the Grand Prix with 65.699%.

Owner Kamil Iwicky confirmed to Eurodressage that Dark Knight has a new owner.  "Dark Knight has been sold to South Korea," Iwiccy Dressage Stables stated. "We are very proud of what Dark Knight has achieved during his time with us and we are confident he will continue his career successfully in his new home."

Rossetti sold to Korean company, Group Agricultural Corporation Yukang, according to the FEI database.

Rossetti made his international career under Henri Ruoste and sold to Sportpferde Galleria in January 2023 as a Paris Olympic hopeful for Kim. Rossetti returned to the international show ring in December 2025 under Korean Myeong Seok Lee. He showed the horse at the CDI Aarhus to a 59.022% Grand Prix score. Delaurentis then sold to Sportpferde Galleria and the ride went to Hungarian Maté Garai who rode the horse to a 5th place at the 2023 Bundeschampionate and to a win at the 2023 CDI Neu-Anspach in the 7-year old finals test.
