Filly Kamar's Etcetera Noir Hit and colt Bond Elton af Skovgård were named the champions of the 2026 Danish Warmblood Foal Championships held during the elite mare show in Vilhelmsborg on 3 - 5 September 2026.
The stand-out sire was Bonds who sired the colt champion as well as two of the five champion ring fillies.
Fillies: Kamar's Etcetera Noir Hit
Fifteen fillies gathered in Vilhelmsborg for the elite show and five of them were invited to the champion's ring to battle for the title.
Judges Vicky Nortvig, Bjarne Nielsen and Johnny Sørensen named Kamar's Etcetera Noir Hit the champion. She is by Erste Sahne out of a dam by De Noir x Sandro Hit. She is bred and owned by Morten Kappel Petersen. The judges described the filly as "a substantial, uphill and large-framed foal. She has a long, sloping shoulder, a nice arch on her neck when she sets in motion. She trots with ground cover with lots of mechanics and knee action. She has a powerful canter, agile, uphill and comes nicely off the ground. A real functional foal that shines when she gets into motion."
The other four champion ring finalists were EVO Viva Desperada (by Viva Vegas x Desperados), bred and owned by Stutteri EVO; CL Bisju (by Bonds x Bretton Woods), bred and owned by Cecilie Capobianco Lyndrup; Maya-Bell (by Bonds x Jovian), bred and owned by Tina & Nicolai Jepsen; and Springborgs Spumantini BC (by V-Power x Sezuan), bred and owned by Stutteri Springborg (Per Springborg) and CS Equestrian (Christian Springborg).
Colts: Bond Elton af Skovgård
No less than 18 colts came to the elite show, of which no less than four were by V-Power and three by Grey Tonic. The judges invited four colts to the champion's ring.
The other three colts in the champion's ring were Fiero Elton af Skovgård (by Fiji x Dante Weltino), bred and owned by Elton Heste and Skovgård Hestecenter; Åtoftens Valesco ( by V-Power/ x Benetton Dream), bred and owned by Stutteri Åtoften; and Vouvray Fae (by V-Power x Don Olymbrio), bred by Jeannette Haugaard and owned by Helena Højby.
