Show jumper Total Unique became the top selling horse in the collection of the 2026 Oldenburg Autumn Elite Auction in Vechta on 3 October 2026.
Particularly the foals sold for strong prices in this elite auction.
Riding Horse Collection
A thrilling bidding war was held over the high-jumping Total Unique (by Tobago Z) and the Fischer Group won the bid for 250,000 euro, giving the top-priced horse a special competitive future.
The most expensive dressage horse in the collection was the Belgian bred and Oldenburg registered Grand Premium mare, Lot No. 3, Baileys Krack van het Klaverhof (by Bonds x Romanov x Krack C). This elegant, typey dancer, ready for immediate competition, sold for 46,000 euro to a renowned dressage stable in France.
The 4-year old mare Faszination Pur (by Bonds x Diamond Hit) had a hammer price of 40,000 euro, while the 4-year old gelding Fürstino (by Furst Zonik PS x Borsalino) sold for 36,000 euro.

The 3-year old Balenciaga A (by Be Suro x Fiorano) had an online bid of 16,500 euro from a German. An Italian bought the 5-year old Vegas (by Valverde x Sandro Hit) for 11,500 euro.
A total of 24 riding horses found new owners, generating total sales of 758,500 euro. The average price was approximately 31,600 euro. Four riding horses were sold abroad.
High Price for Foal Impetus
The elite foal collection also put on a strong showing. The top price was achieved by Impetus (by Independent x For Romance I x Don Schufro). The colt from the successful Denoix PCH line sold to Italy for 41,000 euro.

Semper Primus (by Secret x Vitalis) fetched 17,000 euro, while Pittsburgh (by Proud James x Rubicell) goes to The Netherlands for 14,500 euro. Valerie (by Va Bene x Feinrich) sold for 14,000 euro, the Danish bred HP Vesper (by V-Power x Totilas) moves to Switzerland for 13,500 euro. The same price was paid for Souvenir (by Souverain x Furstenball).
Sensation in Black (by Secret USB x San Amour) sold for 13,000 euro. Sweet Amour (by St. Emilion x Bonds) and Divina (by Donkey Boy x Totilas) for 10,000 euro.

German horse dealer Viola Abrahams secured colt Valdemossa (by Va Bene x Dante's Junior) for 7,000 euro and has renamed him Viva Plaisir.
The 44 elite foals generated total sales of 472,500 euros and an average price of around 10,740 euros. Sixteen foals were sold to buyers abroad, including Italy, Belgium, Sweden, Austria, the Netherlands, Finland, Colombia, France, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.
Metz Hands Over the Baton
At the start of the auction, Oldenburg’s President Marco Pundsack also bid farewell to Roland Metz, Managing Director of Oldenburger Pferde-Vermarktungs GmbH and auctioneer.
Since October 2022, Metz has played a key role in Oldenburg’s marketing efforts and numerous auctions in Vechta and beyond. After four years, he is now returning to his home region at his own request. The Oldenburg Association and Oldenburger Pferde-Vermarktungs GmbH extend their heartfelt thanks for his dedication and wish him all the best in his future endeavors.
He will be succeeded by Carsten Rotermund.
