American Grand Prix rider Christian Simonson has welcomed another horse to his string, acquired by sponsor Heidi Humphries of Zen Elite Equestrian.
Worres Distiny is a 2018 born Danish warmblood stallion by Valløs Dreaming Marong out of Riecine (by Romanov x Bernstein). He is bred by June and Mogens Worre-Jensen.
Worres Distiny
Not it's not a typo, the original name of the horse is spelled "Distiny" and he comes from the famous Worres Danish warmblood brood farm. Dam Riecine also produced Grand Prix horse Zardetto M (Max Wadenspanner). as a foal, Distiny finished third at the 2018 Danish Warmblood region 2 foal inspection in Ringsted.
Distiny has only been competed less than a handful of times. He debuted with Anders Sjobeck Hoeck in January 2023 in an LA level test before heading to Herning for the 2023 DWB 5-year old Championship, in which he finished fifth.
U.S. Bound
Humphries has acquired the dark bay for Christian, who now has Zen horses Indian Rock, Fleau de Baian, Guinness and Don Machiavelli to ride.
Humphries decribed Distiny as a "tall, dark, and incredibly special young stallion." She added, "every horse who joins our Zen family is special, but Destiny has exceeded even our wildest expectations! His talent and presence have us dreaming big, and we couldn’t be more excited to watch these two grow together."
Trainer Adrienne Lyle scouted the horse for Zen Elite in Denmark
