Go For Romance PS became the best seller of the 2020 Paul Schockemöhle Online Auction of 2.5-year old dressage stallion prospects. The online auction concluded on 20 October 2020.
A collection of 10 talented, young dressage colts from Schockemöhle's best bloodlines was offered for sale.
The liver chestnut Go For Romance PS (by Governor out of Furtherance (by Furst Romancier x Sir Donnerhall x Don Schufro) became the best seller of the lot, switching owners for 130,000 euro. A tough bidding duel between a German and a Danish buyer took place with the former having the final bid.
The second most expensive colt was Franklin's Donnerhall PS (by Frankin out of Furstin Fantasia (by Furst Romancier x Sir Donnerhall x Don Schufro). He sold to Luxembourg for 72,500 euro, with French and Danish customers bidding against.
Two colts sold for 58,000 euri. Sebastino PS (by Secret x Vivaldi x Sir Donnerhall x Don Schufro) moves to the U.S.A; Velvet Foundation (by Vitalis x Foundation x Sir Donnerhall) found a new home in the U.K.
The bay colt Viano PS (by Vivaldi out of Loxandra (by Diamond Hit x Argentinus) fetched 52,000 euro and will stay in Germany.
Tom Jones PS (by Totilas x Jazz x Matador x Rubinstein) will stay in Germany for 52,000 euro, and so will Secret's Ferrari PS (by Secret x Hotline x Sandro Hit) for 46,000 euro.
Fadi PS (by Foundation x Zack x Hertug) sold for 41,000 euro.
Rocky O PS (by Revolution x Sandro Hit) and Baron's Diamond PS (by Baron x Furst Romancier x Diamond Hit) will both move to Spain for 31,500 euro and 22,000 euro.
