2019 Spanish Young Horse Champion Fürstenherz Sold to Florida

Fürstenherz, the 2019 Spanish Young Horse Champion in the 4-year old division, has been sold Julie McAllister from Wellington, Florida. He will be a new ride for Paula Matute Guimon.

Fürstenherz is a 2015 born Hanoverian by Furst Nymphenburg x Royal Blend x Worldly. He is bred by Klaus Kropp.

Owned by Winfried Albers, the chestnut was part of the Hanoverian Auction for sport horses on 13 April 2019 in Verden and sold to Spaniard Luis Quillis for 16,500 euro. The Valencia based rider bought the horse purely based on the video.

The pair made its national show debut In July with a double win, after which two more shows followed where they continued their winning streak. To cap off an incredible season, Quillis steered Fürstenherz to the gold medal and national title at the 2019 Spanish Young Horse Championships in the 4-year old division, scoring 83.60 in the Final. He bested a field of 63 4-year olds.

At the 2020 Spanish Young Horse Championships for 5-year olds, he finished 8th last year. 

Fürstenherz has now been sold to Julie McAllister and the training has been given to Paula Matute Guimon, the the one year elder sister of Spanish A-squad rider Juan Matute Guimon. Paula runs a training business in Wellington, Florida, totally separate from her parents and brother who live in Madrid, Spain.
