Norwegian Pays 74,500 € for Foal Dynamic in Black in 2021 Hanoverian Autumn Elite Auction

On the second day of the 138th Elite Auction Online on 24 October 2021, a collection of foals and two and a half year old colts were up for auction.  The top priced foal was Dynamic in Black, who sold to Norway for 74,500 euro. The best paid young colt was Frankie K, for whom a buyer from the USA invested 55,500 euro.

Sixteen bidders showed interest in the Dynamic Dream x  De Niro colt Dynamic in Black and gave his breeder and exhibitor Axel Baumgartner the top price of 74,500 euro.

High Prices for Foals

The online auction got off to a brilliant start. The very first foal, San Salvador (by Sir Donnerhall x Benetton Dream), bred by Hubertus Poll, sold to Ukraine for 35,500 euro. Seara Nova (by Shu Fu x Dancier) will stay in Germany and sold for 18,000 euro.

The jumper colt Casino Royal (by Conthargos x Graf Top), bred by Willem Klausing, sold to Hungary for 10,500 euro. 

GQ Sold to France
French buyers acquired GQ (by Galaxy x Don Ferro) for 10,000 euro. The same price was paid by Germans for Joplin (by Janeiro Platinum x Sir Savoy). A Swiss customer bought So Lovely (by San Amour x Likoto xx) for 8,250 euro, while Vermentino (by Vitalis x Furstenball) will move to Sweden for 7,500 euro.

The 25 foals in the collection achieved an average price of 11,520 euro. Compared to the previous year, the average price was about 1,400 euro higher. 15 foals remain in Germany, ten sold across Europe.

Frankie K

The 138th Elite Auction Online also included a lot of young dressage stallions. The two and a half year olds were selected during the pre-selection for the  Hanoverian stallion licensing and were met with great interest.

Right from the beginning, Frankie K (by Franklin x San Amour), bred and owned by Konstantin Kratzberg, was the favourite of the buyers. The expressive black stallion sold to a customer from the USA for 55,500 euro after an international bidding duel. 

Quebeck (by Quantensprung x Rohdiamant) sold for 34,500 euro to a German. Baronet (by Baron x Sorento) sold for 26,000 euro. Freundschaft Plus (by Furst Belissaro x Bonifatius) fetched 23,000 euro. 

A Brit bought Entourage (by Escamillo x Rubinero) for 22,500 euro, while Fury (by Floris Prince x Ducello) moves to Sweden for 20,500 euro. Barico (by Baron x Don Frederico) will fly to the U.S.A. He sold for 18,000 euro.

The colt collection included 24 highly interesting young talents and they sold at an average price of 19,646 euro.

Next Auction

The 138th Elite Auction will be followed by further highlights in Verden. The stallion licensing and the stallion sales for dressage stallions will take place from 4 to 6 November.

On 20 November, around 50 riding horses will be auctioned online, ready for trying from 10 November. The crowning finale of the year will be the stallion licensing and stallion sales of the show jumping stallions from 2 to 4 December, during which the Hannoveraner Show Jumping Masters will also be held.
