Dressprod reported that French pony team anchor Swyn Barrade has moved on to a new rider, Lilou Gravejat.

The 16-year old Welsh cob stallion is by Ceulan Nathan out of Usk Barrade (by Hwylog Sensation). He is bred by Cecile Rouffaud in France.

Three Riders, Three Europeans

Owned by Rose-Mary Harang, the bay stallion has been a fixture on the French dressage pony scene.

The first rider he took into the international show ring was Lou Morali, who made her CDI debut at the 2016 CDI Saumur and were 7th at the Pony Nationals that year. After three years in the international ring, her efforts were rewarded as she represented France at the 2018 European Pony Championships in Bishop Burton, where they were 29th in the individual test. In 2017 they were team reserves and and in 2017 and 2018 they were fourth at the French Pony Championships.

In 2019 Enora de Vienne rode Swyn Barrade for one season and took him to the 2019 European Pony Championships in Strzegom, Poland. They were 15th in the Kur to Music Finals. The pair also won the 2019 French Pony Championships.

Swyn Barrade did not compete internationally for two years but made a come back in 2022 with Stella Briand, who rode him to a 29th place in the individual test at the 2022 European Pony Championships back in Strzegom.

Lilou Gravejat

Dressprod reported that the 14-year old Gravejat will be the new rider of the stallion. Lilou trains with Coralie Dales and has been competing at national pony level.
