Right before the turn of the year the Danish equestrian federation appointed  Lars Svarre Krogsgaard as new team captain. He will assist new Danish pony team trainer Lisbet Seierskilde.

Lars Svarre Krogsgaard combines his passion for dressage sport with a professional job as Product Owner in management and communication for the Danish finance company Alm Brand.

"I can contribute with the necessary structure and thus help to ensure that the framework for the riders is in place, so they can continue to focus on delivering great results," Krogsgaard stated in a DRF press release. "I look forward to working with Lisbet, to becoming a good sparring partner for her and then of course to meeting the talented pony riders."

Seierskilde is pleased to have Lars as her wingman. "It is my impression that Lars and I will complement each other super well on many points, and I am sure that will benefit the riders, so I am very happy for our collaboration.

Krogsgaard, who actively breeds, trains and competes young dressage horses, will start his job on 1 January 2022.
