Femke de Laat has sold her 9-year old KWPN licensed stallion Intro K to Australia. He will continue his career with Heather and Kate Kyros.

Intro K is by Apache out of Zastrade (by Rousseau). He is bred by Daan Kosters in Schijf, The Netherland.

Owned by Femke de Laat, he was licensed at the 2016 KWPN Stallion Licensing and completed his stallion performance test in the autumn of 2016, scoring 79 points and finishing 9th in the group. It was De Laat's first licensed stallion

Under de Laat he finished fourth in the 2018 KWPN Stallion Competition Finals and 7th in the 2019 KWPN Stallion Competition Finals. He was 21st in the 2017 Pavo Cup semi-finals, and a year later improved to finish  sixth in the 2018 Pavo Cup Finals.

The pair tried qualifying for the Dutch team for the 2018 World Young Horse Championships but were named second reserve. In 2019 they tried again but weren't picked.

Intro K stood up for stud and produced a small collection of offspring, including Sandra Nuxoll's Nabola (by Intro K x Rhodium) and the KWPN elite mare Olaviola (by Intro K x Chippendale).

De Laat sold Intro K to the Kyros family in Australia. The 18-year old Kate has been competing internationally in Australia as a junior rider aboard the 13-year old Australian bred Courtlands Cadman (by BJ Kaneto Casaova x Donegal Double Taje). They competed at the CDI's in Caboolture and Boneo this year.
