Australian Grand Prix rider Fiona Selby (née McNaught) has decided to sell her yard, Boneo Park. The property is one of the key venues for Australian international dressage and para dressage competition.
"The McNaught Family is offering for sale both the business as a going concern, and the landholding which is set across 318 hectares (789 acres) and 12 titles," said directors Fiona Selby and Karen Lawrence via a press release on behalf of the McNaught Family.
Boneo Park is located on the Mornington Peninsula and came into the family's ownership 20 years ago. They restored the Tootgarook Wetland and developed the land into one with national significance, especially from an environmental perspective.
The business will continue to run as usual throughout the sale period.
Selby made her international show debut at Grand Prix level in 2009 aboard Sachenkönig (by Handryk x Altan II). She then bought Ostra from Belgian Grand Prix rider Claudia Fassaert and competed the horse from 2010 through 2012. In 2014 she returned to the CDI ring aboard Tacita (by Dionysos x Rex Graziano), which she campaigned until February 2020.
