Following results at Wellington CDI, the British Dressage U21 Selectors release their updated short lists of riders in contention for team selection for the FEI Youth European Championships 2023.
Only one change took place to the list and that is an addition to the Young Riders short list.
Claudia Davis has been added with her own Fergus RT, a 13-year old KWPN gelding by Uphill x Ferro.
Based in Loughton, Essex, the 19-year old Davis is an assistant rider at Kyra Kyrklund and Richard White's Snowhill Farm in Horsham, Great Britain.
At the 2023 CDI Wellington Heckfield she placed 6th in the team test with 68.922% and eighth in the individual test with 68.627%. A month earlier, she posted 67.549% and 68.921% at the CDI Hickstead, while at the CDI Compiegne she scored 68.529% and 67.598%.
Davis joins short listed riders India Durman-Mills (Escade), Maddy Frewin (Blue Hors Dexter), Lilah Gibbs (Dude III), Ruby Hughes (World Exclusive), Lily Laughton (Skovborgs Romadinov), Jessica McConkey (Lady Gaga and Wilson Stensvang), and Annabella Pidgley (Espe) on the short list for British team selection
