Raphael Netz' Nurnberger Burgpokal hopeful Finest Black Lady has moved on as a junior riders horse. Juliane Dörr will compete her from now on.
Finest Black Lady is an 8-year old Hanoverian mare by Finest out of Royal Black Lady (by Royal Highness x Don Primero x Cardinal xx). She is bred by Cornelia Morgner
Finest Lady
Also named Finest Lady in the FN database, the black mare made her show debut in Denmark.
Swedish Jeanna Hogberg, who at the time ride for horse dealer Andreas Helgstrand, showed her first in September 2020 in a 5-year old young horse class and two weeks later placed second in the semi-finals for the Danish young horse championships. Hogberg was selected with Finest Black Lady for the German team for the 2020 World Young Horse Championships, but the event was cancelled.
So she sold to the Werndl family that year and was first competed by Benjamin Werndl in 2021 as a 6-year old. Werndl competed her into her first M-level test in Ising in April 2021 and did a few more shows that year.
In 2022 she only did one show in Gut Winkelacker.
Raphael Netz
In 2023 assistant Raphael Netz took over the ride and campaigned the mare on the Nurnberger Burgpokal circuit.
They premiered at Hof Kasselmann in Hagen, where they were third and fro there went to Mannheim were they were fourth.
Junior Horse
A spot in the Burgpokal finals is no longer pursued as the mare has moved to a new rider, German junior rider Juliane Dörr.
The 17-year old Dörr has been competing since she was a young child, starting out in 2016 with Gigi and in 2018 she showed Hip Hop (by Latimer x Le Duc) in the lower level tests. In 2020 Salida del Sol (by Sir Nymphenburg x Feiner Stern) followed and in 2021 there was Bonito (by Boston x Spielberg). The latter two horses have been her main rides through M-level.
