Two stallions were accepted for Trakehner breeding at the approval held at the Westfalian Horse Center in Munster-Handorf on 24 - 25 February 2024.
A group of nine stallions - of which five 3-year olds, two 4-year olds and two Thoroughbreds - were entered for this licensing.
The colts were presented on hard surface and then seen in freedom as well as in free jumping on Saturday, while they were presented in hand and under saddle on Sunday.
Two of the colts were accepted, amongst them the 4-year old Zauberdesign (by Schwarzgold x Monteverdi). Bred by Ursula Ebert and owned by Claudia Lackert, this colt did a sport test scoring 8.67 points. He has been approved with the premium label.
Also approved was the 6-year old thoroughbred Elegant Maximus xx (by Maxios xx x Galileo xx x Roi Danzig xx). He had a successful racing career and is already DSP approved. He is bred at Gestut Wittekindshof and owned by Kurbel & Weisskirchen.
