Anette Ejlergaard's Baunehojens Carpaccio Sold as Junior Rider Prospect

The international small tour horse Baunehojens Carpaccio has been sold to Danish pony rider Rikke Johansen as her future junior rider's horse.

Baunehojens Carpaccio is an 11-year old Danish warmblood by Charmeur out of Baunehojens Taliki (by White Talisman). He is bred by Pia Gobert and  Asger Lorentzen.

The bay made his competition debut under Anna Kromann in January 2018.

Tge cimpeted at a few local shows in January and February before heading to the 2018 Danish Warmblood 5-year old Championship in Herning, where they were 14th after placing second in the first two rounds.

As a 5-year old he was included in the collection for the 2018 Danish Warmblood Spring Auction which took place at the annual stallion licensing in Herning. He sold for 56,000 euro to a Danish buyer, who was soon identified as Anette Ejlersgaard.

Ejlersgaard didn't wait long to first show her new horse. She rode him in April 2018 at a local show to a first place and then there was a one-year gap before they returned to the arena.

The pair competed at the 2019 World Young Horse Championships in Ermelo, where they finished 14th in the 6-year old consolation finals with 77.800%. Later that year they became reserve champions at the 2019 Danish Young Horse Championships.

In 2020 they were named first reserves for the 2020 World YH Championships.

Swapping the Ride

In the autumn of 2020 Dennish Fisker began showing the horse. He also rode him at the 2021 Danish Dressage Championships in Uggerhalne at small tour level, placing third in the PSG and fifth in the Inter I. Fisker retained the ride through the autumn of 2021.

As of December 2021 Ejlersgaard was back in the ring with him and they returned to the international stage in the Prix St Georges at the CDI Herning, followed by three small tour classes at the CDI Sint-Truiden. They won the Prix St Georges. Sint-Truiden was both Carpaccio's and Anette's last show

Junior Prospect

Carpaccio has now been sold to Rikke Johansen.

Rikke Schoubye Johansen is a Danish pony rider who competed at the 2023 European Pony Championshi^s with Lykkeholms Cyperb. She was 7th in the Kur. This year she's selected for the 2024 Europeans with D'Artagnan.
