Nicolas Wagner Renews Title at 2024 Luxembourg Dressage Championship

2024 Luxembourg Dressage Championship

After riding at his second Olympics, Nicolas Wagner grabbed the title in the senior Grand Prix division at the 2024 Luxembourg Dressage Championships held at equestrian center Meeschhaff in Vallée de L'Ernz.

With only two riders competing for the title in both rounds, Wagner and his 15-year old Hanoverian Quater Back Junior (by Quaterback x Bonheur) was undefeated after scoring 72,93% in the Grand Prix and 79,96% in the Kur. The silver went to Fie Skarsoe on the 13-year old Lusitano Garrett (by Unico x Go Go). She posted 69,43% in the Grand Prix and 75,25% in the Kur.

At small tour level the title went to Kristina Möller aboard Arlette Jasper-Kohl's 9-year old Oldenburg Bon Gregoria PS OLD (by Bon Bravour x Don Gregory. She went from a 5th place in the Prix St Georges (65.92%) to a winning 69.520% in the second round to achieve the highest total for the title. Luxembourg's junior rider Lena Wolf, a student of Fie Skarsoe, was the runner-up in the small tour championship on Sundancer (by Sungold x Wolkentanz II).

In the young horse championship the winners were the 4-year old Rhinelander Great Galaxy (by Galaxy x Dancier), the 5)year old Oldenburg Fireloni (by Foundation x Quaterback) and the 6-year old Oldenburg Senor (by Sezuan x Rubin Royal).
