2024 Austrian Dressage Championships

Children rider Hannah Dearing-Schumach, pony rider Nele Cordt, junior rider Katharina Zajic, young rider Valentina Friedl, Under 25 rider Felicitas Simoncic, senior small tour rider Belinda Weinbauer and senior Grand Prix rider Peter Gmoser won the national titles in their respective divisions at the 2024 Austrian Dressage Championships.

The 2024 Austrian Nationals moved to Gossendorf on 6 - 8 September 2024.

Gmoser Renews Title

In the absence of the entire Austrian Olympian team, Peter Gmoser got free range to ride the 10-year old Hanoverian mare Dante's Daiquiri (by Dante Weltino) to his second, consecutive senior Grand Prix champion's title. Gmoser and the black mare won the Grand Prix with 71.100% and posted 74.420% in the Kur to top the leaderboard for the title. Gmoser has been riding the mare since she was four.

The silver medal went to Ulrike Prunthaller aboard the 12-year old Trakehner mare Fleur (by Kentucky). She consistently scored over 70% and stayed on Gmoser's heels. With 70.180% in the Grand Prix, followed by 73.385% she was the clear runner-up. Prunthaller is currently riding for Trakehner stud Admontbichl.

Isabella Willibald and the 11-year old Bavarian bred Richterhof's Farbenfroh (by Fahrenheit) grabbed the bronze with 68.120% and 72.145%.
