A bay Zenetti x Zalando colt was named champion of the 2025 Brandenburg Stallion Licensing in Neustadt-Dosse on 11 January 2025.

For the second time the Brandenburg-Anhalt stalion licensing took place during the CSI Neustadt (Dosse) in the Graf von Lindenau Hall. A collection of 53 young sport stallions was presented to the licensing commission, consisting of of Antje Lembke, Christian Kubitz, Andrè Thieme and Dietmar Schulz.

The committee was very generous for the 18 dressage bred stallions as no less than eleven passed and five were named premium.

The champion was Heinrich Ramsbrock's bay DSP registered Zenetti x Zalando x Don Diamond, bred by Oskar Kusterer. He also became the price highlight of the hybrid auction that followed, selling for 150,000 euro.

"The presentation of this stallion on the lunge was a demonstration of fluency, carrying power, uniformity, relaxed and with exemplary contact - it was fantastic," said Dietmar Schulz. "We were particularly pleased with the stallion's consistent quality, even at a slower pace in the trot as well as in the canter;he continued to bounce in the trot and canter in the same flow and with the highest quality - that was impressive. In the side view, the stallion has good muscle tone, is well developed and has good type – a complete stallion."

The reserve champion was the DSP registered colt by Fair Deal x Ben Benicio x Sandro Hit, bred and owned by the Saxon state Stud Graditz.

The third ranked premium stallion was Marcus Stiekema's black colt by Lord Europe x Sandro Hit x Rubinstein, bred by Georg Toenjes. He sold for 60,000 euro at auction.

The two other premium stallions were a colt by St. Athletique x Belstaff x Wolkentanz II, bred and owned by Friederike Peters (sold for 28,000 euro), and a colt by Taurus x Fürst Heinrich x Waldstar xx, bred by Kirsten Schwenzer and owned by horse dealer Heinrich Ramsbrock. He sold for 60,000 euro.

A licensed Morricone x Alemany sold for 20,000 euro, while the licensed Quaterback x Ibizi went for 12,000 euro. The licensed Vainqueur x Jazz fetched 14,000 euro.

The non-licensed Vaderland x Furstenball sold for 20,000 euro, while the Von Und Zu x Mighty Magic had the highest bid of 14,500 euro.

The average price for a licensed stallion was 36,033 euro; for a non-licensed stallion it was 19,400 euro.
