Susie Dannemand has been appointed elite sports manager for dressage by the Danish Equestrian Federation.

She succeeds Anne-Mette Binder

With more than 30 years experience down her belt, Dannemand has been a judge, DRF dressage committee member.  Her background runs in the pharmaceutical industry, where she has worked closely with management groups, been responsible for PAs, budgets and contracts.

" For me, dressage is my greatest passion, and now I have the opportunity to combine my passion with my professional work. I am really looking forward to it," said Dannemand.

She continued, "I'm really looking forward to building and not least expanding my relationships with all stakeholders in and around the association. One of my focus areas is to support and promote our team collaboration, but also to help lead the way when it comes to horse welfare in the sport and DRF's position as a leading dressage nation. The two things can and must go hand in hand. A huge amount of work has already been done, both at the elite level and in Danish equestrian sport in general, so my most important task will be to support and continue to expand it in the elite department."

Dannemand will take up her new role on 1 December 2025, but she has already been getting involved by attending meetings and seminars. For her new post Susie is stepping down from the DRF's dressage committee.
