A Bonds x Diamond Hit son, has been named champion of the 2025 Oldenburg Stallion Licensing in Vechta, Germany; on 15 November 2025.

A collection of 53 colts was presented for licensing and 32 of them received a positive verdict.

The licensing began on Thursday 13 November with the presentation on hard surface, followed by the lunging. On Friday the stallions were shown in freedom and in walk, when they received the licensing status. Later in the evening nine stallions were named premium. On Saturday morning 15 November the premium stallions were presented once more and the ranking was decided.

Bonds x Diamond Hit

The champion is a nameless colt by Bonds out of 2012 Brillianring mare Faszination (by Diamond Hit x Florencio), bred by Hans and Britta Scherbring and owned by Anne Haase.

This black colts comes out of a dam line that has produced numerous Grand Prix horses, including Damon's Design (by Damon Hill - under Nancy Smith, USA) and Damon's Fantasy (by Damon Hill - under Kathy Priest, USA). His great-granddam, the elite and state premium mare Francesca, produced licensed stallions Diamonit I and II and Grand Prix horse Diamond's Diva (Ebeling, USA).

Oldenburg breeding director Peer Eitenmüller said on the winning stallion: “Twelve S-level horses in the first three generations, including five Grand Prix successful horses, speak for themselves, and this stallion aspires to the same. Cantering on the lunge line, he consistently presented himself as balanced and collected, and also impressed with a spectacular trot as well as a very good walk.”

At the auction following the licensing, the champion became the top seller of the collection, finding a new owner in Lovsta Stuteri in Sweden for 360,000 euro. The stallion will stand at stud at Lodbergen in Germany.

Top Three

The reserve champion is the nameless colt by Dynamic Dream out of Donna Franka (by Fidertanz x De Niro), bred and owned by Elisabeth Wegert. He sold at auction for 95,000 euro.

The third ranked stallion is the nameless colt by For Romance I out of Rosenherz (by Floriscount x Rohdiamant), bred by Monika Quarz and owned by horse dealers Ifversen & Schwierking. This colt sold for 130,000 euro at auction

Premium Stallions

Reserve champion by Dynamic Dream x Fidertanz

The other six premium stallions were not ranked. They were sired by Be Sure, Dynamic Dream, Ibiza, Secret, So Perfect and St. Emilion.

The most expensive one at auction was the St. Emilion x San Amour x Lamerto H, bred by Silvia Zeyn and owned by Christoph Wahler. He fetched 130,000 euro and moves to the Netherlands.

The premium Kjeldbjergs Statement (by So Perfect x Franziskus x Wilkens) sold to Sweden for 120,000 €, while the premium Dynamic Dream x De Niro x Plaisir d'Amour sold to Qatar for 80,000 €.

The Dutch owned (2S Equine Investments BV) bay premium stallion Tricolore (by Ibiza x Painted Black x Jazz) had a hammer price of 50,000 € and will return to The Netherlands.

Non Premiums

The third ranked premium colt by For Romance

The most expensive non-premium stallion was Fairlas (by Fair Deal x Totilas x Donnerhall) owned by Polish Kamil Iwicki. He sold at auction for 100,000 € to a German bidder.

The licensed Diamantenglanz x Vitalis x De Niro, owned by Veronika Wieghaus-Vorwerk, sold for 96,000 euro to The Netherlands.

A Dynamic Dream x Vitalis x Don Frederic found a new German owner for 87,000 euro, while the Dutch owned licensed Theodoor HS (by Energy x Rousseau) moves to Germany for 62,000 euro. Isle of Man AK (by Ibiza x Grey Flanell) went for 54,000 euro and the bay Dynamic Dream x Bon Coeur sold for 50,000 €.

Dynamic Dream was the best represented sire at this licensing and all seven presented colts were licensed!

The average price for licensed stallions settled at 72,212 euro, while unlicensed stallions averaged around € 26,200
