Galant (by Glamdale x Foundation) was named champion of the 2025 Mecklenburg Stallion Licensing on 4 - 6 December 2025.

A collection of 49 dressage bred colts was entered for this licensing and 36 showed up. Almost all were approved as no less than 28 of them got accepted. Also a staggering amount of 12 were named premium !

For breeder Paul Schockemöhle, who traditionally has the licensing champion year after year and presents a huge collection of the 2025 edition of this licensing was a huge success. He bred no less than 10 stallions and presented 16 in total under his ownership name at the licensing. He got seven licensed of which five (!!) were named premium. The majority of his colts sold to new owners on 25 november in an online auction.

The Oldenburg bred Galant (by Glamdale out of Filia Aurica (by Foundation x Donnerhall x Argentan)) was named the champion. He is bred by Lothar Ackermann and was presented at the licensing by .... Paul Schockemöhle in partnership with Morningstar Gmbh, a Bonn based company behind Dr. Herbert A. Flock.

Breeder Hedda Ottmann-Droege also had a major success rate in Mecklenburg: all three of horses she bred and presented were licensed, one was premium.

The reserve champion was the Hanoverian bred Dreamtime (by Dynamic Dream x Dancier), bred by Carolin Kapp and presented by Schockemöhle, while the nameless Westfalian colt by Total Diamond PS x Fürst Wilhelm, bred by Volker Kückelhaus, was the third ranked premium stallion

Bidding in the online auction of the licensed and non-licensed stallions concludes on 10 December 2025. The licensing champion is not for sale.
