German professional dressage rider Leonie Richter has welcomed two new licensed stallions into her barn during the Christmas holidays: Glamdale WP and MSJ Tokyo Style.

Glamdale WP

Glamdale WP is a 7-year old Westfalian stallion by Glamourdale out of Martinadale P (by Millennium x Lord Loxley). He is bred by the late Werner Pleines and owned by his daughter Heike Pleines.

He was licensed at the 2022 Westfalian stallion licensing and approved for Oldenburg and Hanover the same year. He did his 50-day performance test in Adelheidsdorf in the autumn of 2022 and scored 8.62 points in total.

Stefanie Ahlert had been in charge of his training so far. She debuted him in competition in July 2022 in Greven, winning a riding horse test. They got silver at the 2022 Westfalian Young Horse Championships and bronze at the Bundeschampionate.

In 2023 he did not compete at all, but returned to the arena in April 2024 and was nominated on the German team for the World Young Horse Championships in Ermelo, where he won silver in the 5-year old finals. This year he competed in the German team selection trials for the 2025 WCYH, but as former medal winner was only named second reserve. He did not compete at all in 2025.

As a breeding stallion Glamdale WP was very popular with Westfalian breeders in 2023. He was the third most used stallion in the area. In 2024 he dropped to 17th place. His first licensed son, Galant, is the champion of the 2025 Mecklenburg Stallion Licensing.

Stallion keeper Ruscher-Konemann announced that Glamdale WP will not be standing at stud in 2026 as he moved to Richter to be focused fully on sport.

Richter, who five weeks ago left Helgstrand Germany in Syke as its head team rider, is now running her family owned stable as an independent agent.

Richter is off to a good start in the new year with two new stallions in her barn, including Emma Blundell's home-bred Oldenburg MSJ Tokyo Style (by Totilas x Ampere x Fidermark). He has Mount St. John Freestyle as grand dam. The 5-year old MSJ Tokyo Style is yet to make his show debut. He did his 50-day performance test in Adelheidsdorf in the autumn of 2025 and scored 8.22 points in total.
