ANCCE, the official PRE horse breeding association, has officially launched its bid to become the host of the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses for the 2028 - 2030 cycle.
ANCCE wishes to host the event, which in the past 27 years has only been hosted at three different venues (Arnheim, Verden, Ermelo), at the Sunshine tour show grounds "Montenmedia" in Vejer de la Frontera, Spain. ANCCE is bidding against Ermelo, Verden, as well as a Danish venue for the cycle of 2028 - 2030.
In a press release, ANCCE stated that "this bid is the result of over two years of continuous work and is part of a long-term international project that ANCCE has been developing for many years. It reflects the Association's firm commitment to the development and international promotion of dressage, with a special focus on young horses, as well as maintaining an active and ongoing presence in major world championships."
The PRE horse breeding society added that, "the entire process has been approached with prudence, rigor, and meticulous planning, fully aware of the high organizational and sporting demands of a championship of this scale. From the beginning, ANCCE has worked in a coordinated and constant manner with the FEI, the WBFSH and the Royal Spanish Equestrian Federation."
This bid was developed in partnership with Sunshine Tour Montenmedio, "whose top-notch facilities meet the necessary requirements to host an event of this magnitude."
