The bay celebrated his hay days with Evi van Rooij, who debuted him internationally at the 2017 CDI Diepenbeek. They were fourth at the 2017 Dutch Pony Championships. In 2018 they were nominated on the Dutch team for the Europeans, but had to withdraw last minute and were substituted by Thessa Gilbers.

Their highlight year was 2019 when they showed at the CDI Lier, won the Dutch indoor championships, headed to Joosland, Compiegne, and Exloo, before being nominated on the Dutch team for the European Pony Championships in Strzegom, where they finished 8th in the Kur and got team silver. They put the icing on the cake by winning the Dutch Outdoor Pony Champion's title as well.

Van Rooij continued with him through 2020, adding another indoor title to their tally, but did not return on the team for the Europeans.

Jango sold in the autumn of 2020 to Connie Feringa and the pony returned to the CDI stage in May 2021 with Sara Holleman, who showed him interntionally through the summer of 2023 with starts in Exloo, Sint-Truiden, and Kronenberg.

The gelding then sold to the Chen family for Charline Chen to ride. She premiered him at the CDI Tolbert in April 2024 and competed him internationally for one season.

In the autumn of 2025 it was Michelle Verbij's turn to show the pony internationally. Verbij leased Jango from the Chen family and was 10th at the 2025 Hippiade and 6th at the 2026 Dutch Pony Championships. They rode him at CDI's in Le Mans, Aachen, Tolbert, Exloo, Lier, Hagen, Deauville, Leeuwarden and last weekend in their final CDI in Opglabbeek.
