The Hanoverian bred Blue Hor St. Schufro has been proclaimed "elite stallion" by the Danish Warmblood Society.

Blue Hors St. Schufro is an 11-year old Hanoverian by St. Moritz Junior out of Dorina (by Blue Hors Don Schufro). He is bred by Joachim Wahlers.

Purchased by the Danish Blue Hors stud at the 2013 Hanoverian stallion licensing, where he was named premium stallion, St. Schufro cost 580,000 euro at auction.

As a 4-year-old, he was approved for life and named champion stallion at the 2015 Danish Warmblood Licensing in Herning after he scored 864.5 points in the Danish 35-day stallion performance test in 2014.

Under  Allan Grøn, the black stallion qualified for the 2015 and 2016 Danish young horse championships, but did not compete in the Finals. In 2017, however, he was fifth in the 6-year old finals at the Nationals.  Nanna Merrald took over ride and made a winning small tour debut in 2019 and moved to international Grand Prix level in 2021 Most recently the pair was second at the World Cup qualifier in Vilhelmsborg.

St. Schufro's offspring has name also made its mark in sport with Lyngbjergs St. Paris becoming the 2022 World Young Horse Champion and Danish young horse champion, while licensed stallion Skyline to B became the 2022 Swedish Young Horse Champion in the 4-year old division. St. Athletique won the 4-year old challenge held during the 2022 World Young Horse Championships.

Owners of Danish licensed stallions have to apply for "elite status" themselves by 1 October of each year. The society then evaluates if the stallion qualifies for the label. As of 2021 it suffices for a stallion to have his own show record in sport and to become elite no longer necessarily has to be connected to his offspring's success.

The popularity of breeding stallions often declines after the first few years of breeding, after which they stabilize at a lower level. As Blue Hors St. Schufro's offspring have proven to be very rideable and functional under the rider, the stallion's popularity has increased. He is, among other things, sire of five DV silver medal mares, including the UVM gold winner Lyngbjergs St. Paris.
